After 25 years editing a wide range of high end TV and film projects (feel free to check out my IMDB page here or click “Home” above) I’m looking to diversify, and spend less time on the wonderful Thameslink by providing video for local (Herts and Bucks based) companies and organisations. I’m a one man outfit, and charge purely for my time rather than the filming/editing equipment I’ve built up over the years. As a result I’m able to offer a very reasonable “No-job-too-small” approach.
A lot of people aren’t keen to put themselves in front of the camera, which is a feeling I totally understand. Without a lot of crew standing around it’s easier to create an atmosphere where you feel more relaxed and able to take your time to communicate what you think is important. My editing experience also means that it’s not essential to get everything right in one go! Sometimes the less rehearsed something feels, the better it communicates with the viewer.
I’m also able to include any graphic material you might have, (e.g. your logo), and generate pages of text if required. I can also source copyright free music to work as a bed to your video, which can be licensed for a small extra fee.
If your company needs anything from a simple “piece-to-camera” presentation, all the way up to videos for your website showing off your products, equipment, premises, customer experience, or testimonies from satisfied clients I am confident I can deliver something you’ll be delighted to show.
Case studies:
Harpenden Dental Centre
HDC’s new website went live this month and includes several videos featuring different dentists talking about their specialisms. There’s also a compilation of comments from satisfied customers, and a master video for the homepage that combines those comments and visuals of the practice with a piece to camera introducing the practice and it’s ethos.
Azalea
Over the past ten years I‘ve filmed and edited a number of short films and training videos for Azalea, a charity working with women in Luton who are trapped in sexual exploitation. This video is a film from a few years ago that aimed to communicate an overview of their work. A new version is in the pipeline! I’ve since made films for them about housing, and working with men, and training videos that have been used to educate the police and other organisations about sex-trafficking.
